This popular type of face lift is a minimally invasive facial plastic surgery procedure that addresses wrinkles and sagging skin. Because this procedure is typically performed endoscopically, using small incisions, patients will avoid the scarring and long recovery time associated with a traditional facelift. A mini facelift involves the placement of incisions in front of the ears from the hairline to the bottom of the earlobe. Once the incision is made, a cosmetic surgeon pulls the skin and underlying tissues upward and outward. They will then remove excess skin and tissue to tighten the facial skin.
