Skin lifting and tightening is something that lots of people are looking for. In the past, surgery was really one of the only options and that often came with some scarring.
Through the latest advances in technology, WAVE is now able to offer some incredible non-surgical skin tightening procedures.
While we have a variety of radiofrequency treatments for skin tightening, one of the most unique methods is through Morpheus8 by InMode.
How Morpheus8 Works
Morpheus8 combines two highly effective treatments, microneedling and radiofrequency.
The microneedling is instrumental in treating the skin for two very important reasons.
As you may be aware, microneedling works by stimulating the skin’s natural ability to produce collagen. This is achieved by creating tiny punctures in the skin, and then the skin goes about repairing itself.
Microneedling is also important because it is the delivery vehicle for the radiofrequency. Morpheus8 uses the microneedling to achieve precise depths to deliver the radiofrequency deep into the skin.
In fact, Morpheus8 uses ultrafine needles to deliver RF energy to depths of up to 4mm. This is deeper than any other device on the market.
The primary function of the radiofrequency is to continue to increase collagen production, help restore skin laxity, and help the skin look younger overall.
Where can you use Morpheus8?
Because Morpheus8 is specifically designed to treat the skin, it can be used throughout the body.

What you should know about Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a treatment that comes with many important benefits. Here are a few key things you should know:
- Safe to use on all skin types
- Can be used on the skin throughout the body
- Minimally invasive
- Impressive results
Best of all Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment. This means that that is minimal downtime, no scars or incisions, and it can be combined with other treatments or procedures you may be getting.
What is it like to experience Morpheus8?
As with all the procedures at WAVE our priority is to always put patient care and safety first.
While everyone is a little bit different, we ensure the comfort of our patients with some gentle numbing cream on the treatment area to minimize any discomfort.
Then an expert member of our staff will start the treatment. Treatment time varies based on the area(s), but most of the time treatment takes anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes.
Recovery after the procedure is quite light. Depending on the patient and the area(s) treated, there is typically a bit of redness and possible marks from the needles. This usually lasts for a few days and it is best to avoid sun exposure for a few weeks.
Depending on the results you want to achieve, and the area(s) being treated, the best results are usually seen after about three treatments and these treatments should be about 4-6 weeks apart.
Neocollagenesis takes some time, and most patients see results about 3-6 months after their Morpheus8 treatment.
Is Morpheus8 right for you?
While Morpheus8 is a highly effective treatment, it isn’t the right solution for everyone. Patients with lots of laxity in their skin may be better suited for more intense treatment options.
That said, if you are looking to tighten your skin, help restore that youthful look, treat scars, or skin discolorations, Morpheus8 might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
We encourage you to schedule a consultation to find out if this is the right treatment for you. Call us today at (888) 674-3001 to learn more!
